Trip To Back Bone Rock

I went with my brother and sister in-law for a drive to back bone rock in Virginia a short while back and thought I'd share some photos and descriptions.

The View From The Top Of Back Bone Rock

For those less familiar, this is a huge rock tunnel and they have created a stairway albeit a treacherous one so you can hike up to the top. As you can see in the last photo above there are no rails or safety precautions once you get up there but it is a beautiful sight. I must confess that due to my hip problems I did not climb to the top and just sent my camera up with them.
